Guwahati: Diganta Das, an Assam Civil Service officer of 97 batch, has been transferred as the new Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam in Public Health Engineering Department. He shall also handle the additional responsibilities of the Additional Mission Director, Jal Jeevan Mission, Assam. Das was appointed as the Deputy Secretary in Home and Political Department.

Gurnel Singh, an Assam Civil Service officer of 99 batch, Deputy Secretary to the Government of Assam, Cultural Affairs Department and Official on Special Duty in Directorate of Cultural Affairs, Assam is relieved from the temporary attachment to the Office of the Deputy Commissioner, Cachar.
