Mumbai: Sanjay Kumar, an Indian Service Officer of 1984 batch shall be the next Chief Secretary of Maharashtra. Kumar is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary, Home and Housing Department. He will retire next year. Ajoy Mehta, another IAS officer of 1984 batch, who is currently serving as the Chief Secretary of Maharashtra is going to retire on this month.
