Dehradun: Uttarakhand Government has transferred and re-designated Five IAS officers including Sowjanya, Dr V Shanmugam, Yugal Kishore Pant, Sonika, Ranveer Singh Chauhan; two Indian Forest Service officers including S P Subudhhi and Dr Parag Madhukar; and two PCS officers including Jharana Kamthan and Pratap Singh Shah.
Sowjanya, an IAS officer of 2003 batch has been removed from the responsibilities of Director at State Environment Protection and Climate Change Directorate. She will continue to serve as Chief Electoral Officer of Uttarakhand, Secretary – Election, Secretary – Finance, Secretary – Women Empowerment and Child Development and Commissioner – Tax.
Dr V Shanmugam, an IAS officer of 2007 batch has been removed from the Secretary of Child Rights Protection Commission. He will continue to serve as the Additional Secretary, Women Empowerment and Child Development Department and the Director, Integrated Child Development Scheme.
Yugal Kishore Pant, an IAS officer of 2009 batch has been removed from the responsibility of Mission Director, National Health Mission. He will continue to serve as the Additional Secretary, Medical, Health and Family Welfare and Project Director of Uttarakhand Health System Development Project.
Sonika, an IAS officer of 2010 batch has been given responsibility of Mission Director of National Health Mission. She is also serving as the Additional Secretary of Environment, Culture, Faith, Civil Aviation, the Additional Chief Executive Officer, Tourism Development Board and Chief Executive Officer of UCADA.
Ranveer Singh Chauhan, an IAS officer of 2009 batch has been removed from the post of Additional Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Additional Commissioner – Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department, Additional Transport, Secretary, Hindi Academy, Director – Language Institute, Managing Director, Uttarakhand Transport Corporation, CEO, Dehradun Smart City Limited, Vice President (Additional Charge), Mussoorie Dehradun Development Authority (MDDA)
IFS officer S P Subudhhi (1994 batch) has been given additional responsibility of State Environment, Protection and Climate Change as the Director of the organisation. He is also handling the charge of Member Secretary of Uttarakhand Pollution Control Board and Chief Forest Conservator.
Dr Parag Madhukar Dhakate, an IFS officer of 2002 batch – who is currently working as Forest Guard, Western Circle, Haldwani, Uttarakhand – has been given responsibility of Special Secretary to the Chief Minister as Additional Charge.
Jharna Kamthan, a PCS officer has been given charge of Secretary, State Commission for Protection of Child Rights Uttarakhand. She is Additional Mission Director of National Health Mission and Joint Election Officer (Additional Charge)
Another PCS officer Pratap Singh Shah has been given the responsibility of Additional Secretary, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection and Additional Commissioner, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Matters (Supply Branch, IT)
