Hyderabad: Four IPS officers of 1995 batch including Dr R S Praveen, Swati Lakra, Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat and V V Srinivas Rao have been Promoted in Telangana State by the State Government. These promotions are:

1. Dr R S Praveen Kumar, IPS, 1995, has been promoted as the Secretary, (Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society) TSWREIS in Hyderabad in the rank of Additional Director General of Police.
2. V V Srinivas Rao, IPS, 1995, has been posted as The Chairman of Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board, against the cadre post of Additional Director General of Police.
3. Swati Lakra, IPS, 1995, has been posted as the Additional Director General Of Police Women Safety. She will also lead SHE teams and Bharosa, in the rank of Additional DGP.
4. Mahesh Muralidhar Bhagwat, IPS, 1995 has been posted as the Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda in the rank of Additional DGP.
