Ahmedabad: Ajay Das Mehrotra, an Indian Revenue Service Officer of 1984 batch has been transferred as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax (PrCCIT) of West Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand. He was working as PrCCIT of Gujarat.
Further, Amit Jain, an IRS officer of 1985 batch has been transferred as Income Tax Chief of Mumbai. He was working as Director General of Income Tax Investigations Division in Gujarat.
Another IRS officer of 1985 batch Pritam Singh, will replace Ajay Das Mehrotra and take charge as states PrCCIT.
