Punjab: 2007-batch Indian Administrative Officer Devinder Pal Singh Kharbanda, who was working as Director in Rural Development and Panchayats, has been transferred to Sports and Youth Services as Director. He will also take the charge of Special Secretary of Sports and Youth Services replacing Sanjay Popli, IAS. Kharbanda has also been give the additional charge of Special Secretary, NRI Affairs along with Commissioner of NRI Affairs.
